Beautiful fall in Lake Tahoe

It's absolutely gorgeous right now!!!
Peaceful, romantic......I'm watching a great sunset right now over the lake.

Tonight there's a Winter Film Series at Sawtooth Ridge Cafe..
Cocktails for a Cause at the Hyatt to support local charities..
Cooking demonstration at Northstar Village for "easy appetizers for the holidays"

Friday Night Art Jam benefiting Arts for the Schools at the KidZone Museum in Truckee.
Incline Village Library will have a Twinkie display (seriously!)...I wonder if she has any of those twenty year old Twinkies that we always heard don't go bad (I'm not eating it!)
Saturday gives us a Holly Art display at the North Tahoe Arts Center in Tahoe City..
A Holiday craft fair at the Tahoe Biltmore from 9-5..
Sunday gives us free admission to kids under 12 for the Tahoe Maritime Museum...

And as always, we have great restaurants including Las Panchitas Mexican Food (great food, fast friendly service) and Hiro Sushi (great food also! very fresh with exciting rolls)
And we have great hiking on the Tahoe Rim Trail, gorgeous strolls on the beach across the street (we have access) great Thanksgiving meals at GarWoods Grill and Pier and comedy nights and live music at our local casinos...
Coming up...Christmas craft lessons in the Vistana's lobby (where we also have wireless access) featuring jewelry made with semi-precious stones and pearls at reasonable prices! Give everyone great jewelry gifts and never tell them what it cost you!
And of course, November 26th Northstar opens...
If you’re looking for a long park run, Pinball is the place to go. Pinball is one of the best all around parks that the mountain offers. You can dial in that new skill you’ve been working on or polish up an old one. Pinball features jibs galore with everything from street rails to fun boxes, along with tabletops, step-downs, hips and rollers.
They offer anything your heart desires in snow fun...and of course don't miss
all of the resorts North Lake Tahoe has to offer including Squaw Valley (voted one of the ten best mountains in the U.S. by Outside Magazine) Alpine Meadows, Diamond Peak, Sugarbowl, Mt.Rose, Homewood...

As always, it's just another lousy day in Paradise.
Cheers!
Heather
